All Nations Love is designed as a heart-based social
participation movement that brings people together within their culture,
community, and nation while inspiring collaboration with other nations and
people from around the world. It is our way of uniting heart to heart, nation to
nation.
To encourage this movement of universal goodness, we propose that
the people of each nation (that is you!) launch your own version of this project
to begin this process of social collaboration. Beginning right in your own
community and neighborhood or taking it to the scale of your whole nation, start
sharing your stories, images, videos, personal and social interactions, whatever
brings awareness
of the heart and soul of your culture and the incredible potential that you know
your country is capable of. Use your social networks to share, collaborate, and
inspire. Be innovative. Be kind. Show the world you care deeply for humanity,
the environment and the very essence of life on our planet.
The potential of this social presentation is boundless. We are initiating this
on national levels to stimulate the potential of each great nation – and they
are all great! You can also share it on a state, city, village and community
level if you prefer. Think what an impact we will have as we begin to show the
world that Kenya Loves, England Loves, Nigeria Loves, Japan Loves, for example.
And on city levels, Sydney Loves, Kathmandu Loves, Montreal Loves, Chennai
Loves. You may even want to start a movement on your campus, school, association
or in your company.
The more we continue to show one another how much love we all
have, love itself will expand and become our collective experience. Every
person in every nation has a heart, it is time to let yours shine.
Here at The Love Foundation, since we are based in the US, we are
launching America Loves and will
have an expanded web page soon that can act as a creative idea center for how you can
begin this social effort in your nation. We also have pages on
Facebook,
Twitter
YouTube and
Google +. Of course, as each of you develop your initiatives, we look forward to
learning many new things from you as well.
A Personal Note from Harold…Since launching
The Love Foundation in 2000, I have had the privilege and honor to
personally and virtually connect with people in over 150 countries. The most
astounding part of this unfolding journey is the humbling experience of the
strength and depth of heart so many people have all around our beautiful
planet; truly the majority of people in each and every nation.
The courage and dedication of countless people striving to
live in peace, genuine kindness and in harmony with one another is
extraordinary. Despite the many ongoing challenges, we set aside our
differences and work diligently in our daily encounters with each other to
help one another.
I know this is contrary to what is portrayed in media,
news and official presentations, yet if we stop for just a moment and
consider the many, many experiences we have with friends, family and
community, it is obvious the greater expression is one of kindheartedness.
When given the opportunity, people come from love, as it is the natural and
innate essence that connects us all.
Yes, we still stumble over momentary judgments and
opinions, become sidetracked with doubt and fear, and perhaps occasionally
engage in argument and conflict, yet these are always temporary expressions.
Ultimately it is our heart that guides us and our compassion that motivates
us to help one another.
It is precisely this fundamental understanding that
inspired me to initiate this new project – All
Nations Love. It is time for each of us to reconnect with the goodness
in ourselves and each other, and to cultivate this with every fiber of our
being. We are the people of this world and we are all part of one great
heart.
Please consider becoming a part of this initiative by
being a leading example of collaboration, cooperation and compassion right
where you are. Share your stories, wisdom, kindness and encouragement with
each other locally. Inspire the people of your country by your personal and
universal love. Show all of us on our precious planet how the people of each
nation embody the true nature of our collective goodness. It is time. Let
every nation’s heart shine.
