Our website is a resource for inspiration and love and we create our pages and programs to provide a joyful interaction through our education, research and charity mission. We endeavor to simplify our interactions with the user and maintain transparent and clear communication.
We minimize any need for personally identifiable information and take a proactive approach to user privacy along with necessary steps to protect the privacy of the website users throughout their visiting experience. This website complies to US national laws and where appropriate, GDPR requirements for user privacy.
Contact & Communication
Users contacting this website do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested of their own choice. We keep any personally identifiable information private (i.e. name, email address, and/or postal address provided to us by you) and store it securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use.
We make every effort to ensure a safe and secure form to contact us through our email submission process.
Any form that requires additional information that relates to a specific program (i.e. Love Ambassador designation nomination program or Art, Essay and Poetry Invitational) asks for this information to fulfill and verify the program requirements. This information is kept confidential and with no additional uses beyond properly delivering and maintaining the program itself.
In the specific instance of nominating another for consideration as a Love Ambassador, you are representing and warranting that you have the nominee’s express consent to provide their information via our online form on their behalf and that your information and theirs is current and accurate.
In the event that information is provided through one of our forms on behalf of another, as in the Love Ambassador nomination form, we will immediately remove any identifiable information if upon recipient notification, designation acceptance and consent is declined.
The Love Foundation operates an email newsletter program used to inform subscribers about programs, messages, products and services as part of our vision and mission. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so, while doing so at their own discretion. In rare instances, we may manually process an opt-in request through prior written agreement with the user.
We use a double opt-in email service allowing the user to provide direct consent through this process during sign-up. Each email we send also provides an instantaneous and easy unsubscribe link as part of the footer in the email.
Email campaigns published by The Love Foundation contain some basic tracking facilities within the actual email. The processing of any information is via our external email service provider and may include non-personally identifiable subscriber activity for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity, for example. The information helps refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity. We do not sell or pass any subscriber details to any third parties.
Although this website only looks to include quality, safe and relevant external links, we advise users to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout this website. (Including external links that are clickable via text / banner / image links to other websites.)

We do not internally process any credit card donations or payments and do not directly gather or receive any personal credit card information. We accept donations through a variety of well-established third party vendors to securely process and deliver your donations to our nonprofit. The only potentially identifiable information we receive is your name and address contact information provided by the payment-processing sites and only if you give consent during the checkout process. Some of this basic information may be necessary to record and comply to verify our IRS charity status and tax rules and to send thank you notices in compliance with State and Federal laws. These payment processor sites may include (yet not limited to) PayPal, Google Pay, Facebook for Nonprofits, GuideStar, Network for Good, American Express Giving, Amazon, Amazon Smiles, eBay for Charities, Great Nonprofits, along with others.
